Club History
A very generous Berry College benefactor gave $100,000 to the college. The donation was to be used as a learning tool to effectively teach student how to invest in the real stock market. This funding has been made available for students to invest in an organized club called BIG. With the donated resources and a goal to learn and profit for the school, we, the students of Berry College, established the Berry Investment Group (BIG).
Mission Statement
This club's purpose is to provide the opportunity for any student, not just business majors, to learn more about investing in the stock market. No previous knowledge is required of members, and everyone is encouraged to suggest and research possible stocks. Guest speakers are invited throughout the year to provide insight on companies and various opportunities in the work force.
